We needed to sell our ski condo after my wife’s death in middle of July. We listed about August and received an offer slightly over the listing price almost immediately.The buyer wanted closing and possession at the end of the month. My wife’s son and I were co-trustrees. Katie handled all the details with many e-sign documents so we were ready but the buyer had a last minute switch to another mortgage company due to an omission by the mortgage company. In order for the buyer to occupy before closing, Katie negotiated an increase in earnest money and daily rental with the buyer. The sale was successfully closed to everyone’s satisfaction on September 23.
